Prayer Request
While I was in North Carolina with my family, I also had time to visit a dear friend of mine Coley Berry. Coley has been a loyal, encouraging, and lots of fun to be around friend. She has a little girl Ella who is Noah's age and new little girl baby named Ali. While visiting with her she shared about the news she just recieved last week that the doctor's report is that her mom only has two weeks to two months to live. If the Lord would lead you, could you please pray with me for Coley and her mom and ask God for a miracle. Coley and her husband, Brandon are in ministry and they are strong in the Lord. They were a great encouragment and support to me when my late husband went to be with the Lord. I only pray that I can give them support like they gave to me and that is why I am asking for your prayers. Below are some pictures of our time together.

Back to Back family and lovin it!
Paul's brother and his family came up to Kansas City for a 11 days. We had such a great visit with them. They were here over their daughter's kelly's birthday. Shannon did such a great job organizing a butterfly birthday with obstacle course for the kids including wrapping them in toilet paper as a cocoon and then having them wear wings and fly like butterflies. To view more pictures of the party you can click on the link: http://picasaweb.google.com/kingdomlivingchurch/KellySBDay?feat=directlink We loved seeing Harrison and Landon play together. They were able to spend the night with each other for five nights. They would make a fort under the ping pong table. I will have to get a picture next time they come into town.
They left on Wed and Noah and I flew out that same day to visit my family in North Carolina. We have been having a great time together being in the mountains. Noah has loved being with his cousins, aunt CC momo, meme and granddaddy. We have gone to the pool, played tennis, golfed, gone to the nature center, two different playgrounds, had great dinners with my mom's good cookin, read books, played hide and seek and I even got to have a special dinner with just my sister. Here are a few pictures of our time so far. Noah had an boy influence on the girls on one playground, he got them all to come over and watch the construction that was going on next door. This was only after they had face painted his face maybe he felt he needed to do something manly after that. Noah also discovered that there is something better than throwing rocks in the water, it is: throwing bread and feeding the ducks. He even got to see 5 baby ducks and chased them all back into the water.

My little helper
here are some of the fun things Noah has been doing lately:
he loves to put together puzzles, the bob and larry veggietale puzzle is his favorite
the other day, I asked noah if he was putting the carrots in his belly and he lifted up his shirt and started putting them in his belly button
we pray at dinner time but often times I don't for his lunch because it is normaly just him and we are trying to squeeze it in before nap time. So the other day, he says to me at his lunch "Ma, Ma pray" and he folds hands so I prayed with him and then he said "pray" again I asked if he wanted to pray he said "yes" so I told him to repeat me and so he did and said his first prayer: "God thank you. Jesus I love you. Amen"
Noah continues to go pee on the potty at least twice a day, we do the alphabet books while he is sitting there. His favorite is the turtle on the train. We are still waiting for him start going poopie on the potty.
Noah has been wanting to call and talk to people on the phone so we call them and he says hi and their name and then something about the potty and getting a treat and playing with his cousins wyatt and cassie and then bye bye. Today he even talked to paul and I on the phone because we would call him from the land line and he had the cell phone. He thought this was great. Although one time he thought I was Meme.
Noah has discovered his pockets in his pants now. He loves to put rocks in them so I have to be careful when I do the laundry.

Noah loves reading his clap your hands book with his Papa. They do all the activities in the book (including somersaults, wiggle your toes and fly like an airplane) He is quite good at the somersaults and did 20 in a row on our big bed on day (not exaggerating Paul is the one who counted).
He also loves his thomas the train find the objects books. He can find all the objects on the pages, I am truly impressed (it is kind of like the where's waldo books). If you haven't noticed all the books he really likes has to do with activities. The other day I tried to reading him just a story and he got up several times then came back and sat his bottom on my face then turned around starting pointing at my eyes, nose, mouth and then shut the book and said all done.
He does sit still however when he watches his movies. This is great because now I can take showers more frequently because I can put him on my bed with the movie and watch him from the shower. The other day Paul and I put a movie on for him to have a little break and we were talking in the kitchen we realized it had been quite a while and we haven't heard from Noah. The movies only last about 5-10 minutes before he wants a different one or gets up. So we went to check on him and sure enough he fell alseep watching it. Aren't kids just so cute when they are sleeping.

He also loves to wear just his diaper or have his shirt off since it is so hot. He looks so old with his shorts and shirt off though but it sure is cute.
He loves to watch, squash, or pick up bugs. He gets very excited. Yesturday, he found a cricket in the house and he loved watching it jump. I am a little worried about this if I am honest since I am not a big bug fan. He also loves to chase birds, frogs or squirells.

And to top it off, Noah and I have come up with a new way to clean together. I have noticed over the last couple months his interest in cleaning. He would use my brooms or wipe out his mess with paper towels. He even got a a little broom from his MeMa for his birthday which he loves. I have been trying to think of how this could be more productive for me though. So lately, I have come up with a few ways: one he empty the dishwasher of his plates, bowls and cups and puts them in his drawer. He picks up his toys, and puts things I give in the trash. His new favorite things is the dust buster so yesturday I swept the floor and he would clean up my piles with the dust buster. It was great. He also helped me wipe down the kitchen floor with paper towels and non-chemical cleaner. What a blessing he is to us.
