So the Big day finally arrived when my new camera came in the mail. YEAH! This was my big 30th birthday present from my parents. I figured since I love taking pictures and I am going to be taking them for as long as I live I might as well learn a few things about photography. I am hoping to take some classes but in the meantime I will just be having fun. I don't know what is about photography that grips me. One thing that is obvious, I love people so seeing pictures of people I love makes me smile. Maybe, it is the fact that I have a deep appreciation of them and how they can capture a moment in time that you never want to forget. (For me where this really hits home is with the pictures I have of my late husband, Art.) So all you picture fans out there, go wild... with digitial camera today there is no extra cost for too many pictures only more memories captured.
In light of that be prepared for more pictures on the blog. (yes noah will be the main attraction but as you can tell from this post I have my niece, Cassidy, nephew, Wyatt and their dog, Yuma, (Leah, what would your dog be to me?)
I'd love to hear why some of you love pictures or any photo tips for that matter.

hey girl. new cameras are so fun! i remember when my in-laws gave us our canon digital rebel for christmas. they actually gave it to us in september as an early christmas gift because they didn't want us to miss any great shots of their new grandbaby! I really love it and would love to take a class on how to really use it! Maybe I'll get my act together and enroll in one. Anyway, happy picture taking! Love you! coley
