A day of rest

So today was the first day in a while that we had nothing we had to do. Between doing both family Christmas back to back, house church activities and doing a wedding for good friends in our community, we are pretty exhausted. We basically took turns watching noah while the other one slept and then we went out to dinner. And once we get noah in bed we are planning on watching a movie and going back to bed. It is hard to believe that only a week ago we got home from Florida.
We had such a wonderful time with my family. There are too many pictures and memories to post so I decided on these three. Noah and Ellie with the white pony at the nutcraker performance. Noah opening his Handy Manny motorcycle from Paul and I. And the family group photo.

When we got back there was about 7 inches of snow on the ground. Paul was shoveling and Noah wanted to go out and help with his lawn mower. We had our family christmas with Harrison the next morning. Oma gave the boys a matching set of polo shirts and sweaters. They looked too cute together.

We had house church that night and the next day we went over to Paul's parents house for the Blake Christmas. We had good food, sang Christmas carols, mima read the kids the candy cane story and we opened presents.

The snow has continued to fall. It is even snowing as I write this. Noah, Cassie and Wyatt built a snowman. This snowman was more successful than the last one noah and I tried since we had a lot more snow and we got some good tips from Leah.

The picture of Mima (I know she isn't my Mima, but I like the name)reading with the grandkids is great. I love group photo's and the fact that they were all together.
And the pictures of Wyatt, Cass, and Noah is so cute! Such photogenic kids! Not to mention amazingly adorable and awesome.
