A Dream Come True

Since we are snowed in today, I decided to work on some pictures from the summer. I came across these pictures of Paul and I under the waterfall. I remember being touched by the Lord that day in a special way because a dream I had was that I would be able to kiss the one I love under a waterfall. I had almost forgotten about this dream or I guess you could say put it on the back shelf esp. after Art went to be with the Lord, until this day when it happened. It wasn't planned. It wasn't completely how I invisioned it to be (hence my mom is the one taking the photo from the boat but I am so glad she caught that moment on camera). Something came over me though when I saw Paul out there under the waterfall. I wasn't going to go out there since my dad said he saw a snake on the rock in front of it.

But I knew this was my chance... snake or no snake. I was on a mission. I made it over to the falls and literally grabbed a hold of my dream and made it come true. Reflecting today, I am amazed that the Lord would use that time in my life, one of the hardest seasons of my life for several reasons, to spiritually kiss my broken heart and whisper again to me "Dreams can come true, keep your eyes open in unexpected ways and times, overcome your fears & the enemy, literally grab a hold of your dream no matter how big or small it is and then turn and thank me"

I will praise the L-rd with you! I have the Dreams Come True rose you gave me this Winter. I am holding on to that truth. I am glad you shared this; it touched my heart. G-d loves you so much and I can see why. You are such a gift.

Oh Lauren this is so precious. I have tears in my eyes and goose bumps on my skin. You are so tender, I love your heart and your willingness to share. Thank you so much. I feel encouraged.

Indeed a great moment!!!

Also, the reason I have the life jacket (leaving Lauren without one) is that I had just swam out there carrying Noah.

That's no excuse, Paul. You should have whipped that thing off and wrapped your beloved in it. And how come you didn't sweep her off her feet and carry her dripping to shore, like a true prince? Hm?

Paul you are a prince - the Lord has used you to restore my daughter's heart and life....I thank him for you and thank you for being the man you are. To God be the Glory
