Kids update

Harrison had his first day of 8th grade. He is running cross country again. And he turned 14. wow he is getting so big and is truly turning into an amazing young man, that I am proud to call my son. Since, his birthday was not on a day we get to have him, we surprised him and brought him donuts after his cross country practice (I know it is not the best thing to eat after you run but he enjoyed them.) We had a family birthday party for him and yes more donuts but it was as his cake.

Noah started a soccer league for the first time. Lately he has been waking up and asking if we could go play soccer in the basement even before we eat breakfast. He has asked Paul if he could be on a team. He had his first practice/game on Sunday. He was a little shy but still did good.  He also meet his preschool teacher on thrusday, Mrs. Anne. His first full day is tuesday. He is very excited to go two days a week.

Meeting Mrs. Anne

Dassah has been doing all sorts of stuff lately. Some of her favorites are giving hugs and kisses, taking people's shoes and hiding them, saying hi (or IEEE as you can watch in the video), dancing, jumping on the trampoline, and saying "arf, arf" at dogs (or animal for that matter). She follows directions more and right now she is getting her molars.

Noah in preschool! Oh my goodness. And he looked so natural standing there with one foot on the ball, one hand on his knee and the other on his hip.

I love it! I especially love the photo of Noah with the soccer balls. And I've especially loved how Dassah is so loving to me lately, and when I've needed it the most. Crazy how those kids can be so comforting. Thanks for sharing your little treasures. They brighten my life.

Wow, Harrison must love donuts! Looks like he had a great birthday.
And Noah cracks me up. You can tell his mom has taken lots of pics of him - he always strikes a great pose!
