Thursday we had an ultrasound and the baby weighed 6lb 14 oz and was healthy. We were so thankful to hear the news. The nurse was super nice and showed us some images in 3D and even printed us this one. Then yesterday we thought was the big day, I had been having contractions 5 to 3 minutes apart starting Friday night. Eventually, I took a shower to try to relax and ended up falling asleep around 2:30 am. When I woke up the contractions continued so we went to the hospital around 3:00pm yesterday for them to see if I was in active labor. After being checked after an hour I was still at the same place I was at my last doctor visit. bummer. The nurse did say I was having a lot of contractions though and that she wouldn't be surprised if Hadassah was coming soon. So Paul and I came back home, disappointed but also trusting in the Lord's timing. The nurse said they wouldn't induce me because since I am gestational diabetic it is important to wait till week 39 for the lungs to fully develop. However, since we didn't have Hadassah yet we were able to do our photo shoot we had scheduled with our friend Allison today. She did a great job. Thanks again. Here are five of my favorites
So here we are just waiting again. Although I wouldn't say that this last month we have just been sitting around waiting. Since I last posted we have had Harrison's spring break which we decided to do a mini vacation in kansas city. We went to crown center and union station to watch the grand caynon IMAX and go to science city. We stayed at a hotel that night and the boys had so much fun jumping on the beds and in the hot tub.
Our house remodeling has been coming along well, we are practically done with the master bath and bedroom just a few more odds and ends. We have a friend painting a cool tree in Hadassah's room so we will wait to take some pics until we are done. Harrison is enjoying his new room. Although it is hard to get a good picture here is one of him relaxing on his new futon bunk bed.
We also got our tree stump removed. The boys loved watching this (okay I thought it was pretty cool too). When it was all over there was a big hole in our yard. It took Paul two trips to the store to get enough dirt to fill it. After a good rain, the boys thought it would be fun to play in the mud.
We also went to two weddings one was Paul's old roommate who use to live with us and the other is Paul's cousin. Both weddings were beautiful and honoring to the Lord.

We have also had some thing come up this past month with our church that has put us into a place of renewed vision. We would appreciate your prayers as we are seeking the Lord for his direction. Recently, I have started a Beth Moore Daniel Study and it has been really helpful for me already in trusting that He will give us wisdom and direction at just the right timing.
We celebrated three important holidays, Purim which celebrates the story of queen Esther (Hadassah is her Hebrew name) saving the Jews from destruction. Since she hide her identity until the right time, it is a time to dress up. Paul went as Seinfeld, Noah an aviator pilot and I went as a prego Hippie. This last week we celebrated passover with our community. Tom and Leah hosted and did an amazing job it was truly a royal celebration.

Today we are celebrating the firstfruit and Resurrection sunday which actually lined up this year similar to when Jesus actually rose from the dead on the Firstfruits. During the day, we enjoyed a nice lunch with Paul's parents. It was a real treat just to be with the two of them. Tonight at house church, Eric and Susan did a wonderful job explaining the significance practically and symbolically of the connection between Firstfruits and the Resurrection.

Thanks for the update on how you are doing Lauren. I have thought of you so often the last few weeks and can't wait to hear of the arrival of your little princess. Hang in there girl and continue to trust in God's perfect timing!
We can't wait to meet Hadassah! And I'm so glad Allison took some pictures of you. You do make a beautiful pregnant lady. Love you!
